Lionel Mark Trichardt matriculated from Bertram Secondary School with distinctions in History and Business Economics.  He obtained his LLB in 1996 and his B. Juris Degree in 1994 at Vista University, Port Elizabeth Campus.

 

Lionel also attended the School for Legal Practice in East London from January 1997 – June 1998.

 

Employment history

Lionel completed his candidacy at J.J. Yingwana and Associates in 1998 and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in June 1999.

Lionel briefly had his own firm and joined Du Preez, Potgieter and Trichardt form March 2001 to May 2011.In June 2011, Lionel restarted his own private practice.

Dauneé Lee-Anne Simpson attended the Aeroville Senior Secondary School and matriculated in 2005. She worked while studying towards her law degree.

 

Dauneé obtained her LLB Degree in 2012 from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU). She joined the firm in 2013 as a Candidate Attorney and was admitted to the High Court as an attorney in 2016.

Daunee worked for Y&T Furniture from 2004 until 2012 and fulfilled several administrative and financial duties.

Lelani Smit completed her LLB through UNISA in 2014 and was admitted as attorney in 2016.

 

She completed her Practical Legal Training in 2015 and passed her Attorney’s Admission Examination in the same year.  She attended Framesby High School where she matriculated in 2006.

 

Lelani achieved a multitude of Distinctions in her UNISA LLB.

Employment History

Before joining Lionel Trichardt and Associates, Lelani was a Candidate Attorney at Francois Roux Attorneys from 2015-2016 and worked as an Office Assistant at Labuschagne Van Der Walt Attorneys for a few weeks.  Prior to her legal career, Lelani was a sales representative, office assistant and a product promoter.

Vuyani matriculated from Matthew Goniwe Memorial High School in 2012 and completed his LLB degree at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in 2014.

Employment history

 

Vuyani worked as a call centre agent for the Foschini Group and also worked in a community law project for UWC between 2012 and 2014 until the programme ended. He is a Candidate Attorney at LTA and joined the firm in April 2017
